Valerio Lisci, Kevin Spagnolo, and Aurélien Pascal come together to form a new chamber trio, an unprecedented ensemble that brings harp, clarinet, and cello into a unique musical dialogue. The project stems from the desire to explore timbres and colors still largely uncharted, harnessing the expressive potential of three instruments as distinct as they are complementary.
The repertoire spans the great works of late 19th and early 20th-century European music, with new transcriptions by Valerio Lisci that highlight the lyrical depth and orchestral richness of composers such as Debussy, Rachmaninov, Fauré, and Strauss. From the dreamlike atmospheres of Première Rhapsodie and Une Chatelaine en sa tour to the virtuosic complexity of Dance of the Seven Veils, the trio pushes the boundaries of timbral possibilities, blending technique, expression, and an innovative approach to sound.
